How to make Mushroom Masala?

Ingredients For gravy

2 tbsp oil

1 tbsp ghee

1 tsp cumin seeds

1-inch ginger sliced

3-4 garlic cloves

4 onion sliced

2 tomato chopped

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp red chili powder

Salt to taste

2 tbsp curd


For mushroom fry

Ingredients

1 tsp oil

1 tsp ghee

1 bay leaf

1-inch cinnamon stick

2 cloves

1 green cardamom

1 black cardamom

4 black peppercorn

1 onion sliced

1 tsp red chili powder

Salt to taste

A pinch of Kasuri methi


Process

  • In Kadai heat oil, ghee, cumin seeds, ginger, garlic, and onion sliced and sauté well.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and mix well. Then, add tomato and sauté them for some time. 
  • Add salt (according to the taste), curd and let it cook till the tomato becomes soft. Then add water as required.
  • Blend the mixture and keep it aside
  • Heat oil and ghee in a pan. Add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom, black peppercorn and sauté well
  • Add onions and sauté till translucent. Then add red chili powder, mushroom, salt to taste and sauté well.
  • Add mushroom gravy to it and cook for a minute.
  • Sprinkle Kasuri methi in it

Mushroom masala now ready to eat 😊
