How to make gajar aloo matar?

Ingredients

4 carrots cut into cubes  

1 cup green peas 

1 medium potato cut into cubes 

2 small onions roughly cut 

2 tomatoes roughly cut

1-inch ginger fine chopped

1 green chilly fine chopped 

2 tbsp ghee

1/4 tsp cumin seeds

1/4 tsp turmeric powder 

1 tsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp red chili powder

Salt to taste 

 

Process 

  • In hot pan add 1 tbsp ghee, onions and sauté. Now add green chili, ginger, tomatoes and sauté them Now add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt. Sauté them 5 min 
  • Now blend the mixture into smooth paste.
  • In a hot Kadai add 1 tbsp ghee now add cumin seeds 
  • Add the prepared paste and sauté 5-6 minutes.
  • Add carrots, peas, potato mix well and let it cook on low flame until vegetables are cooked. 
  • Winter’s best recipe gajar aalu matar is ready to eat.
