How to roast chicken?

 



Preparation time: 10-20 min 

Cooking time: 30- 35 min

Serves for: 2-3

Ingredients

3 cups water

500 gm chicken

1 tbsp black peppercorn 

4-5 cloves

1/4 cup cashew nuts

4 tbsp ghee

4 tbsp red chili paste 

1 tsp jaggery

1 tsp tamarind paste 

Salt to taste 

 

Preparation 

  • Heat water in a pot and add cloves, black peppercorn, chicken and cashew nuts. Boil until chicken is cooked.
  • Remove the chicken. Blend the cashew nuts and other spices using blender. 
  • Heat ghee in pan add chili paste, chicken and cashew nuts mixture and sauté. 
  • Now add salt, jaggery, tamarind paste and sauté for some more time.
  • Roasted chicken is ready to eat.
